Round-up of new features
Posted under: New Features
We’ve been pushing out new versions of vendorrisk.com several times a week since we launched in early December. The following are some of the highlights:
- Charts tab — over 30 charts have been added. Each chart is available in both pie and column formats and generated in real-time.
- Import contacts from Outlook – to expedite data input, you can now import your Outlook contacts and either assign the contacts to existing vendors or create new vendors.
- API — VendorRisk customers can access their information from external applications and resources through an HTTP-based API. View documentation.
- Public sharing — if you have a vendor or other item that you want to be accessible to a co-worker or external party without having to create an account for that person, you can designate the page to be publicly accessible and the person will be able see a streamlined, read-only version of the page.
- Dates of interest — in addition to pre-defined dates (such as start and end dates for contracts, review dates for software, etc.), additional dates can now be attached to items. Any upcoming custom dates will appear on the Dashboard.
- Recently updated items – the Dashboard now shows the last five items that have been updated, thus allowing quicker access to timely information.
- Additional password criteria — in a previous blog post we discussed customizable restrictions that can be placed on user passwords. We’ve added login, first name, and last name restrictions — i.e. the user’s password cannot contain their last name.
Drop us an email at info@vendorrisk.com if you have any questions or comments about our vendor management software.
